Oviedo & Winter Springs Youth Lacrosse Training
OWLS Youth Lacrosse hosts skills clinics throughout the year for boys and girls players in Oviedo, Winter Springs, and across Seminole County. These clinics are designed to help athletes improve their technique, build confidence, and accelerate their development outside of regular team practices.
Our clinics welcome players of all experience levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to experienced athletes looking to refine advanced skills.
Skill Development & Position Training
Each clinic focuses on key areas of the game, helping players strengthen the skills that make the biggest difference on the field.
Clinic sessions may include:
- Stick skills and ball control
- Passing and catching technique
- Shooting mechanics and accuracy
- Ground ball fundamentals
- Offensive and defensive positioning
- Speed, agility, and conditioning
Players receive focused instruction designed to improve individual technique while reinforcing teamwork and game awareness.
Guest Coaches & Experienced Players
To provide a high-quality training experience, OWLS clinics periodically bring in guest coaches, experienced players, and instructors from other lacrosse programs and leagues.
These clinics give players the opportunity to:
- Learn new techniques and drills
- Train with experienced coaches
- Gain exposure to different playing styles
- Improve their overall understanding of the game
Guest instructors help create a dynamic learning environment that challenges players and expands their skills.
Clinics Held Throughout the Year
OWLS Lacrosse Clinics are offered periodically throughout the fall and spring seasons, giving players additional opportunities to develop outside of regular team practices.
Clinic schedules may include:
- Pre-season skill clinics
- Position-specific training sessions
- Advanced shooting and offensive clinics
- Defensive development clinics
- Goalie-focused training sessions
